ICC announced that they have already arrange high security for the ICC World Cup 2011. It will cover International Air port Katunayake and its around areas, Katunayake - Colombo road, The hotels which foreign cricket players are going to stay and All the cricket stadiums which ICC World Cup matches going to play. Mr. Suraj Dandeniya said that Sri Lanka Police and all the forces will do this security process. Sri Lanka Vs Canada first match scheduled and going play at Mahinda Rajapaksha International Cricket Stadium at Sooriyawewa, Hambanthota tomorrow (19).
SLC, ICC and Sri Lanka Police announced that nobody can bring any banners, any boards, any musical items, Glass bottles, laser touch, weapons, sharp knife inside to Stadiums.
Tickets for Sri Lanka Vs Pakistan match for ICC World Cup 2011 will start to sell from tomorrow (19) at 8.30 pm at P.D. Sirisena Ground, Maligawatta. One ticket price will be Rs. 50.00.
